(。’▽’。)♡ 「Code Electra / Battle Seraph」 - Guide by Akemin

♡ Table of Contents ♡
- Introduction (about myself~)
- Is Electra/Battle Seraph the right path for me?
- Base job skill guide + Lecture about Knockdowns
- Electra skill guide
- Battle Seraph skill guide
- Tips and Tricks

♡ Hi , I'm Akemin!

Yep , Akemin is the name which I'm most known for on this server of Elsword.
I have six other characters but this Eve is the one which I'm maining at the moment.

I've played many different servers of this game (DE , TW , HK , etc)
and I've tried all kinds of character/class which were available.

However, "Akemin" was my first ever character to hit the level cap. So, having played ALL of Eve's classes , I find myself sticking with electra/seraph the most.

Now I'm here , sitting down for the SECOND time because
firefox crashed on me while I was almost 80% done with the guide

(spent 5 hours on it + wasted my whole afternoon for nothing in the end +
guild members are bugging me on skype to get back online.)

While I am certainly very upset that I have to rewrite this guide all over again , I'll still carry on.

(P.S. this forum really needs a draft system which saves my thread before it gets posted)

Alright! Enough of me ranting about how the first guide I was working on disappeared.

Let's start shall we?
(●´∀`●)

STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU CONTINUE READING

PVP = Player vs Player (Self explanatory. Fighting other players in a match.)
PVE = Player vs Environment (Your typical dungeon and attacking monsters in fields)

SP = Skill points. It's required to pump up/gain a new skill. (You get two skill points per level)
Passive = Skills which adds permanent bonuses to your character
Active = Skills which has a "instant cast"
Special Active = Skills which freezes your screen and turns it into a "manga" kind of view where
your character's portrait pops out at the corners. Usually much stronger and flashier than actives.
Buff = Skills which adds bonus to your character for a set period of time. Also freezes your screen
and does the same "manga" effect as Special Actives.
MEB = Mega electron ball (one of the active skill all eves will be able to get once they completed their
first job advancement)
CEl / CBS = Code Electra / Battle Seraph
CA / CEm = Code Architecture / Empress
CE / CN = Code Exotic / Nemesis

By the way! You will notice that on this server of Elsword ,
most of the skill names / class names has been changed.To find out which class is which , click <HERE>

Do note that in this guide, I won't be using the UK names. (Code Electra = Nasod Electra)
The names I'm using are the original ones from NA/KR server.

Same applies for the skill name. It may be different on this server.

But I'll include skill icons so don't worry~!

Alright , Last thing I wanna say before I move onto the real guide.

**The tips and advice I'll be sharing here is definitely not the right nor the wrong way to play CEl/CBS.

Do be reminded that this guide is entirely 100% MY opinion.**

♡ Is Electra / Battle Seraph the right class for me?

Now , I'll have you know that all classes have their pros and cons.
There is no "best class for eve" in my opinion.

It's all about how you control the tide of the battle and
how flexible you can be while playing that certain class.

Oh... and also stats.

Yeah , I hate to admit it but when you have godly Ice sculpture sets and dual socketing stones everywhere,
you'll be clearing through stuff in an instance.

But don't worry. I'm poor (LOL)

Anyways, for this section, I'll be explaining the pros and cons for ALL of Eve's classes so it
will help you decide whether you prefer CEl/CBS or her sister classes.

CA/CEm

PROS
> Stores up to 400MP due to passives
>
Awesome catching abilities in PVP

> Deadly active skills
> Lots of combo-ing potential
> Great passives for MEB

CONS
> Squishy (Low defense) like all Eves
> Hardest Eve class to master
> Most (not all) skills dealsaverage
amount of damage
>Requires alot of multitasking
(setting up oberon guard/charging MEB)

CE/CN

PROS
> Great party support
> High damaging skills
> Great solo abilities due to Queen's Throne skill
> Easier to use and master

CONS
> Also Squishy
> More challenging at PVP
> Not many good passives / actives compared to CEm/CBS
> Recommended to get a extra skill slot

CEl / CBS

PROS
> Fastest moving Eve class
> Stores a total of 350MP
> Great Passives
> Able to enhance XX attacks with spectrums
> Homing abilities once advanced to CBS
> Skills has very long range

CONS
>Again , Squishy
>Mana hungry (without MP , she's useless)
> Not many combo capabilities
> Most of her combos uses MP and has high knockdown rate
> Recommended to have a extra skill slot

So , If you still prefer the CEl/CBS route...

Go ahead! Carry on reading!

EVE - Another Code (Base Job)

Credit to --> elwiki

Explaining "Knockdown"

Now , In this game , there's something called "Knockdown" rate.

When the combos you do exceed the knock down rate , your enemy will fall back and get knocked down (duh)
The number one rule when playing elsword is to always try NOT TO knock down

Why? Because , when monsters in dungeon/fields gets knocked-down , their defense will increase.
Defense increase = Less damage you do to them. Understand?

While in PVP , the moment you knock your opponent down , he/she will be "invincible" while
laying on the ground. You won't be able to touch him/her until she gets up again.

Worst scenario is , some characters are able to tumble behind you when they get knocked down.
Ouch , what a backstabbing rena. (example)

BUT! Not to worry! I will teach you some loops which prevents knocking down.

Skill Notes

Skill notes are items which can be found by monster drop, doing quests OR the cash shop.
They are meant to enhance your skills , making it stronger than before.
To use a skill note, you'll have to do the technique notebook quest first (or buy it at the cash shop)
Not all skills have skill notes.

Skill Tree

Basic Magic Defense Training (Passive)
Permanently increase your Magical Defense Power.
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : ALWAYS max the first few training passives on your base job skill tree.
It may seemed like a little amount of stats added but trust me , every little bit helps.
Especially in places where stats are normalize.

Illusion Strike (Special Active)
Permanently increase your Magical Defense Power.
MP Cost : 100
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 1/5
PVE = 1/5
Hybrid = 1/5
Notes : There's no reason why you should get this skill. Its based on physical damage and
eve has little of that compared to magical. It's probably one of the worst 100MP skills eve has to offer.
Leave it at level 1 and never look at it again.

Photon Flash (Active)
Slides backwards while creating a clone infront of you which deals damage
to enemies who comes into contact with it.
MP Cost : 30
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 1/3 or 3/3
PVE = 1/3
Hybrid = 1/3 or 3/3
Notes : This skill is one of your "bait" in PVP. Doesn't have much uses in PVE though.
Although , the invincibility frames it gives while sliding back to create the clone is useful for dodging attacks.

Basic Physical Defense Training (Passive)
Permanently increase your Physical Defense Power.
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : Passive? Max max max max~

Dimension Link (Special Active)
Summons a little nasod scout to aid you in battle
MP Cost : 100
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : The thing I hate about dimension link is because of its incredibly high knock down rate.
Although , It's damage is not bad , It doesn't really help when it attacks at the wrong time
and messes up your combos does it? Has it uses IF you got the skill note though.
But even so , with the skill note , It's only good in PVP.
**SKILL NOTE** Dimension Link no longer knocks down when summoned
and its attacks will
have less knock-down ratio, cooldown is increased by 5 seconds.

Basic Magic Offense Training (Passive)
Permanently increase your Magical Attack Power.
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : More magical attack? Yes please!! Max it immediately.

Illusion Stinger (Special Active)
Eve transforms her drones into twin pronged spears of destruction to
pierce through enemies,
leaving a trail of electronic pulses in their
wake.
MP Cost : 200
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : This is your main damaging skill which you will be spamming when you're just a base job Eve.
Best used on big fat bosses , so you can get all hits in. Max it immediately since you'll
need atleast one damaging skill in PVE
**SKILL NOTE** Reduces MP consumption by 20 and reduces range of the explosions by 20%.

MP cost decreased? Yay!
Range shorten = Easier to get all hits in, Yay x2!
Lovers of Illusion stinger should get the skill note. But I doubt you'll use it anymore
once you advanced to your next class though.

Magic Aura Accelerator (Buff)
Increase the Magical Attack Power of all party members within the range
of the buff.
(Does not stack with Magic Adrenaline Skills)
MP Cost : 70
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : Your first party buff. Useful for dungeoning if you need the extra damage.
In PVP , It can be used as a catching tool because all buffs acts like special actives.
Meaning , they will freeze the screen for a spilt second. Abuse that delay right now! *evil laugh*

Basic Physical Offense Training (Passive)
Permanently increase your Physical Attack Power.
MP Cost : 70
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : A passive. I got nothing to say.

Dimension Link Blader (Special Active)
Eve summons a Nasod Blader to slash enemies several times, then fire a beam.
MP Cost : 200
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : Awful damage for a 200MP skill. Just spam Illusion stinger in PVE for now.
Although , If you know how to catch in PVP after the blader launches the opponent ,
go ahead and try it out. (But seriously I still prefer you guys to use Illusion stinger)

Cloaking (Active)
For 3 seconds, Eve becomes invisible.
MP Cost : 10 (drains 5MP per second while in cloaking mode though)
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/1
PVE = 0/1
Hybrid = 0/1
Notes : Uh. No. I don't really like cloaking much cause of the MP it drains every second.
You'll think you can fool players in PVP with this but trust me , Its not that easy.
**SKILL NOTE** Gives 3MP/s regeneration while in Cloaking.

Helps abit with the MP problem but uhh.. Still, No.

Shield Accelerator Aura (Buff)
Increases the Physical and Magical Defense Power of all party members within the range of the buff.
MP Cost : 70
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : Your second party buff. Buffs you in defense instead of attack this time.
Get it if you want it. But becareful not to spend too much SP before you even get
your powerful skills.

Power Accelerator Aura (Buff)
Increases the Physical Attack Power of all party members within the
range of the buff.
(Does not stack with Power Adrenaline Skills)
MP Cost : 70
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5
PVE = 0/5
Hybrid = 0/5
Notes : CEl/CBS focuses on magic attack. This buffs your physical attack..
so, nope. Skip it.

Cloaking Mastery (Passive)
Increases duration and movement speed while in cloaking
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/3
PVE = 0/3
Hybrid = 0/3
Notes : You didn't get cloaking right? So theres no point in getting this passive.
Yes , this is one of the passives which are not required for once.

Generate Blackhole (Special Active)
Eve generates a black hole to pull enemies in, then triggers it to
explode dealing massive damage.
In awakening , targets will take
continuous damage while being sucked in.
MP Cost : 300
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : Blackhole should only be used when you activate awakening mode.
(Pressing left CTRL when beads are collected) Without awakening , It will only do
damage on the final hit.
**SKILL NOTE**Increases suction range of the black hole by 30% and increases the damage by 10%.

I usually see the note around for a cheap price in the market. Get it if you're a huge lover of blackhole.
But still , Blackhole will be replaced later on with other skills.

Dimension Link Guardian (Special Active)
Eve summons a Nasod Guardian that fires a destructive flame wave on both sides.
MP Cost : 300
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : If you play Rena , This skill is similar to her "Phoenix Strike" except that it doesn't
curve on maps. It can be a useful stage clearer but It unfortunately only goes in a straight line.
Either get this or Blackhole. In my opinion , Blackhole is better for bossing.

Energy Conversion (Active)
Sacrifice a small amount of your HP to gain more MP
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/3 or 3/3
PVE = 0/3 or 3/3
Hybrid = 0/3 or 3/3
Notes : Usually used at the start of a match/dungeon. A neat trick to this active
is that when you activate it while sliding off a platform , It will cancel the animation~
But as it takes up to 12% of your HP at max skill level , Becareful not to use this recklessly.
**SKILL NOTE** 30% Chance of not taking up HP when skill is used, but increases cooldown
30% may seem little but if you're gonna be using this active alot , why not?
Do it right and no one will even know you've used it (PVP wise)

That's it for Eve's base job skill tree!

EVE - Code Electra (1st Job Advancement)

First of all , Congratulations for becoming a Electra!
Now you're opened to more laser power!! Yay~
Here's a screenshot when I was just a level 20 and completed my job change quest

Ah~ Memories. XD

Don't judge me for having cloaking on my skill slot! I needed to add a SP to something

in order to move onto the next set of skills . :(

Alright! Let's move on to Electra's skill tree~
This is where the fun starts!

(Also , Now you'll see some skills which are LOCKED. That means you have to do the quest
or buy it from the cash shop with real money~)

Oh! And when I put a * (asterisk) infront of a skill name , It means that It can be
enhanced by the El Crystal Spectrum.

Skill Tree

El Crystal Spectrum (Active) **LOCKED**
Allows Eve to use various force fields in conjunction with combos and
skills.
Size/MP regeneration/knock-down rate of projectiles will change
according to the selected "Mode".
MP Cost : 30 (20 with skill note)
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : There is absolutely NO reason for you to skip this skill. Go do the quest for it if you have to.
Without this skill , Electra is just your usual eve with new skills thats all. Heck , Delete your
Electra if you skipped this skill >__>
**SKILL NOTE** Duration increased by 3 seconds. MP Consumed decrease by 10.

The skill note is only available at the cash shop. Get if you have 95 el-coins to spare.
It helps ALOT. Making El Crystal Spectrum spam-able.

*Particle Ray (Special Active)
Eve emits a beam of particles by concentrating El-Energy on the fingertips.
MP Cost : 100
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : Very powerful 100MP skill. Yes, no need to spam illusion stinger anymore, Spam this instead!
**SKILL NOTE** Increases Critical chance of [b]Particle Ray by 40%.[/b]
Again , another cash only skill note.
Get it if you have the money and want to put a extra "ouch!" into your particle ray.

Intermediate Magic Training (Passive)
Permanently increase your Magical Attack Power.
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : This passive gives you even more magical attack. Get it if you have spare SP.
Either that or , spend your SP on more important skills first then come back to this later once you're
higher leveled and have nothing else to spend it in.

Photon Booster (Passive)
Modify the Nasod Gear such that they emit photons, aiding in mobility.
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : This passive makes electra faster and has more mobility in the air out of all eve's classes.
I would say max this skill but only if you have no SP to spend on anything else.

*Sweep Rolling (Special Active)
Eve generates a rotating Electron Triangle to either lock targets on the spot or push targets away.
MP Cost : 200
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : I would wait until I've advanced to CBS to get this skill if I were you. Why? The skill note, thats why.
**SKILL NOTE** Triangle Size and Speed increased by 20%. Damage and Charge time increased by 10%.

With the skill note and CBS's induction (homing) mode combined..
It's elemental master's magic missile all over again. Get it after CBS~
Oh but the skill note is cash too so If you don't have the money , just skip the skill.
There's lots of better skills electra have to offer.

Magic Adrenaline (Buff)
Greatly increase your Magical Attack power for a short period of time.
MP Cost : 100
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : A whooping +50% magic attack gained in that 10 seconds. Useful if you have MP pots to spam.
And this skill becomes scarier when you advanced to CBS... You'll know why later.
But then again , Electra has SOO many awesome skills. Get the passive below this first.

Spectrum Dynamics (Passive)
Increases the Range of Electron Balls and Beams.
Maxing this passive also unlocks the Spectrum Mode.
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : Now this is one of the important passives which you should get first before all the other buffs and stuff.
With this , Your electron balls and laser combos gets a longer range! Plus , It unlocks the next spectrum mode.
You can now switch between modes while using El Crystal Spectrum by pressing the skill button again.

*Photon Flash (Special Active)**LOCKED**
Eve unleashes a sphere of energy around her,
causing all targets hit by
it to become blinded by light for a short period of time.
MP Cost : 150
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/5 or 5/5
PVE = 0/5
Hybrid = 0/5 or 5/5
Notes : The damage output for photon flare is quite low. But it can be used while in mid air,
making it quite a flexible skill. Its only use is for PVP though. Since your opponents screen goes
blank for awhile when they get hit by this skill.
Fun Fact : I got called a hacker once cause my opponent didn't know what
photon flare is supposed to do to his screen

*Mega Electronball (Active)
Eve shoots an Electron Ball similar to the normal X attack except when
charged by holding the shortcut key,
it becomes much bigger, stronger,
and travels further.
MP Cost : 30
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 0/3 or 3/3
PVE = 0/3 or 3/3
Hybrid = 0/3 or 3/3
Notes : Mega Electronball used to be a "Must max" active for all sorts of eve's classes.
But once you've advanced to CBS , You'll get a better and faster version of it called "Taser"
So skip it first. SP tends to get tight at this point.
But you can still get it if you're not willing to wait for CBS.
**SKILL NOTE** Decreases cooldown by 1 second and reduces charging time by 33%.

This skill note should be a must get for all MEB users. But its understandable if you're poor >_>
People sell it for way too much in the market.
Tip for MEB : I usually place my MEB/Taser skill at the "C" key. Its easier to hold onto while combo-ing.

Advanced El Energy Reactor (Passive)
Reconstruct the Reactor Energy Code such that synergies of new power limits can be achieved.
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : Your Electra / CBS is bound to be very very MP hungry.
Get this passive immediately. Atleast It'll help abit.

*Thousand Star (Special Active)**LOCKED**
Eve summons a special gear with a set of 100 Condensed El Energy "Stars" that will aid her in combat.
MP Cost : 250
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : YES YES YES YES YES! This skill , combined with Spectrum mode of El Crystal Spectrum is really scary.
Not only does the stars homes into the nearest enemy by itself , It can also make your soloing abilities
much more easier. You are able to "mass release" about 50 "stars" to deal a huge amount of damage if you
press the skill button again. Though.. there's a huge downside to this skill in a laggy PVP match.
I'll explain this in the tips and tricks section later. But..... GET THIS SKILL NO MATTER WHAT!!

*Giga Stream (Special Active)
While drawing a significant amount of El-Energy from within the body,
Eve creates a large force-field before herself then fires the beam,
amplifying it into a larger stream of Energy.
MP Cost : 300
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : A 300MP version of particle ray. That's what it is. However, This skill should be your
number 1 stage clearing if all the monsters are aligned infront of you in a straight row.
GET IT! The damage is really good too~!

Phew~! Okay! I'm almost done now , Bare with me for a little while.
I've already spent a whooping 8 hours on this guide in total as I type this sentence.

When you've reached level 35 , You can get your quest and advanced into a ..

CODE BATTLE SERAPH!

Sad story isn't it?

Due to Eve terminating her emotions ,
Some winning/losing poses at each start/end of the game will not have any dialogue.

Skill Tree

High-Powered Electronic Circuit (Passive)
Eve revamps her output circuit for her dashes to be longer and faster.
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 3/3
PVE = 3/3
Hybrid = 3/3
Notes : More mobility? Yes please! Also, with this passive , You won't have to do the drone attack when
you want to use the >> ^ Z *directional keys* combo. Just press X during a mid air boost and it will
connect to that combo. Have fun flying circles around your enemy!
(This passive can be skipped until later levels though when you have extra SP)

*Energy Needles (Special Active)
Eve creates several electric spears around herself for a certain amount
of time.
The electric spears attacks forward from behind Eve.
MP Cost : 100
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : This skill is really useful for chaining with combos in both PVE and PVP.
It's affected by the el crystal spectrums but weirdly enough , It doesn't produce its own force field.
So you gotta XX your way with el crystal spectrum activated if you want it to be affected by the spectrum.

Hyper Optical Research (Passive) **LOCKED**
Increases the scale of size increase of amplification.
This passive also unlocks the Induction Mode.
MP Cost : None
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : Another skill which is a MUST get. Heck , All of CBS's skills are a must get in my opinion.
This is one of the godly ones because it unlocks ANOTHER mode for el crystal spectrum called the Induction mode.
Whats Induction mode...?
Like me rephrase that. It's not induction mode. More like , Easy mode.
It makes your electronballs / lasers / skills which are affected by spectrum HOMES
onto enemies within range. Do you know what this mean?
This means that you can sit back in PVP and watch as your opponent run around like clowns.

Taser (Active)
Eve accumulates the energy of El within the body to create a powerful
electric spear that stuns enemies.
When charged by holding the shortcut
key, it becomes much stronger.
MP Cost : 30
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 0/5 5/5
Hybrid = 0/5 5/5
Notes : The better version of MEB which I was talking about earlier. It's fast and STUNS enemies.
Catch all dem runners with taser in PVP now! It works the same way as MEB so be sure to charge it
by holding onto the skill key for its maximum power!

Energetic Heart (Special Active)
Eve increases the core's output power to the maximum level for a short period of time.
Fusion Mode will be activated.
MP Cost : 150
Recommended Skill Level
PVP = 5/5
PVE = 5/5
Hybrid = 5/5
Notes : Energetic Heart is just.. really really scary. While in this mode , Eve "transforms" herself
and grow wings made out of electrons. She also gains MORE air mobility while in this mode.
But the best thing about this skill is that it unlocks the last el crystal mode.

It's called the "Fusion mode"

Fusion mode combines ALL of your el crystal modes into ONE.
Size increase + damage increase + multiplying + homing ALL IN ONE?
You might think the damage gets lower in the mode but NOPE. It gets higher.

Combine Energetic Heart with a Magic Adrenaline buff and fire a giga stream.

Scary , right?

YAY~! We're done with the main guide!!
I started this guide at 1PM today and now it's 11:17PM.

Wow.. all the dedication..
I still have one more section left to do for you guys,

which is giving tips on how to combo the right way without knocking down.

But since I've been sitting here without getting up for more than 9 hours ,

I'll continue the rest of this guide tomorrow.

PEACE!

(Feel free to add me in game if you need any help c:)

Post reserved!!

That 20,000 word limit made me wait 15 minutes to fully post that stuff up there.

I had to cut the HTML code and stuff into 3 parts and post 3 seperate replies.

Ugh D:

I'll update tomorrow. c:

Accepting comments now though.

Edit : I've noticed some mistakes in the guide.
I put a * beside Phonton Flare. Sorry, Phonton Flare
Is actually NOT affected by spectrums.

Also, forgive the typos here and there. :c

Dimension Link Blader is a must have when u're planning on soloing 2-x. If something goes wrong and Deus Ex activates magic shield, DLB is your only physical skill. So better is to have it maxed. :I

-my opinion-

Also, I don't see any reason to skip photon booster, it's amazing boost to mobility. o3o

But nice guide, waiting for the last post. :3

@Conturbatio : Hmm, this is going to be hard but It's possible. (I only got my B slot recently afterall)

PvE : El crystal spectrum , Particle Ray or Energy Needles (I prefer particle ray if its noted though) , Energetic Heart , Thousand Star.

Thousand Star can be switched for Giga stream if you wish.

If you think fusion mode is not neccessary , take away energetic heart so you can use both thousand star and giga stream.

PvP : El crystal spectrum , Particle Ray , Energy Needles , Taser.

Particle ray for activating induction mode incase you meet a runner.

@Marco : You have a point! Why didn't I thought of that D: must be fighting too much bone dragon I forgot about that deus.

As for photon booster, what I meant was it can be skipped for more important skills and then coming back to it later on c:

Pfft my horrible choice of words DX

Thank you so much for your comment though! ^^

Edit : I've noticed more mistakes now in the guide ... Basic physical training MP cost 70. PFFFTTTT
laughing at myself. Can't edit it unless I bug a crew member e.e

Quick bump and some other stuff I have to say.

Sorry guys, I've been unwell lately so the guide will be going on a slower rate.

I'm also planning on recording some of the combos I use. So that It'll be easier rather than explaining by typing.

All this recording / editing the video / uploading will take awhile since I'm sick >__<

But I'll definitely finish this guide before seraph's release next week c:

Alright guys! I've finished recording about.. 40 clips so far for the video I'm preparing which is some combo/tips video thing for the last section of this guide. I've went through them again and ended up with only 15(or so) clips left. Deleted alot x.x

Before I go on compiling those clips together,

I would like to know what my readers of this guide wants to know/see in the last section.
So I can give it the best with everyone's suggestions.
Anyways! The video will turn out great I promise! So excited to show it to everyone~

Special thanks to my guild members, CleodCannon , Pandemonium , Stazz . (For being dummies in the video for me to hit o3o)

Whoa, very good guide. I really like it.
I love the way you present us the guide as something funny and something easy, with some jokes ( I imagine you when the page trolled you, I hate when that occurs [ usually when i´m writing a great post, internet suddlently flops and I feel stupid ] but at least you have finnished now )

If you don´t want that to happen, you could write first the fundamental things in word or something like that and then copy paste the content and put it in the color and size you want ( easy trick ) as well as the images.

I´ll be waiting for the vid.

Good bye.

@Reven : Ahhh~! Thank you Shiro 8D Still remember the time I got owned in PVP by you though . QQ (wait i owned you back after that XD)

@Dive : Haha , Thank you so much! I'm usually more relaxed at everything and like to joke around. Rarely ever raging in pvp either lol XD And yeah, I learned the copy and paste thingy the hard way. Q_Q Oh well~

I'll post another "bump" when I updated the reserved post with the last set of stuff~

mind if I ask for equipment builds? I used 2 pcs abso and 4pcs(missing the stinger/spike) Dragon set for my CN(Kanade)

my CEl(Chronos) is currently using Type B Alterasia graviton(I accidentally removed the seal I used so I am now forced to make use of it), so is Alterasia set good enough for CEl/CBS? if not, what's recommended?

and stat build please :D

Oh Hey Chronny c:

My opinion is , Eve benefits the most from the dragonic set. The extra critical/damage really makes her more OP than she already is. If you can get a dragon stinger , Thats great. You can have a 4-5 piece while using abso weapon or so. (Well, Obviously a full set of Absolute equipment is the best set in the game)

Your Kanade seems fine to me though. If you're going for the damage and all~ No need to change anything in my opinion.

For your CEL/CBS , I rarely see any CBS use Alterasian though.. :c It's just for those who wants the extra attack speed.
As an eve, I prefer dealing more critical and damage. (Not to mention that Type-H is a stupid trolling boss which makes soloing difficult if you don't have decent gears yet or can't handle the spore madness)

Though It's really up to your preferences.. I can't help much , equipment wise.

Worse you could do is just buy el coins from someone and get a seal to seal the alterasian weapon and get the same stuff for your CBS.

But anyways, Yeah.

Depends what you want to go for.

MK2 = High HP/Defense
Dragonic = High Critical/Attack
Alterasian = High Attack Speed
Belder = Damage Reduction/Accuracy

Most eve go for Dragonic or MK2 (because Eves are squishy >.>)

Personally for CBS PvP skills slot for the non-B slot users:

Taser Pilum
Mega Electron Ball
El Spectrum Crystal

As for the 4th skill:
Energy Needles or Photon Blink or Particle Ray or Photon Flare.

For extreme users (like me) as your 4th skill...
Rolling Sweep

Why am I saying Mega Electron Ball as the most suggested main skill?
3 reasons:
1) It doesnt use much MP, 30 only.
2) Its a great combo continuity skill and with the note skill, while you're staring your combo you can charge it to make it stronger.
3) You can use it in the air and with the induction your chance to catch jumping opponents gets higher as when its charged: 1: induction passive increase, baseically the size of any spectrum field affected skills ALONG with its ow size increase from charging it, 2) its homming so even if its a bit slow, it will still be good enough to catch & start/restart a combo.

Energy Needles
It can easily be use as a start, catch or end of a combo.

Photon Blink/Flash
This one is used by the most expert players I know as you can make longer combos, catch, traps, escapes, feints and preparation combos.
Like MEB and TP it doesn't use much mp and it has a very low cooldown.
The recoil from getting hit by it leaves you 1 second to catch up for combos or end your combo with a finishing skill like particle ray or giga stream (if you were brave enough to save that much mp lol)

Particle Ray
Like mentioned, with induction you can catch runners or use it as a combo finisher.

Photon Flare
It can easily be use as a catch or end of a combo.
If necessary you can use it as an escape.
Second Aerial skill!!

Rolling Sweep
Master Catch/Finisher Skill.
Cannot be interrupted nor KD when using it.
Can be used as a combo follower when affected by Fields.
Does more damage when charging it.
Great team support/rescue skill.
Catches jumping opponent when spectrum (3 way) field.
Platform aid in spectrum (3 way) field as it goes down AND up to drop down platform and catch combo opponents

Take Note!!
Taser Pilum

Mega Electron Ball
It cause double damage, its large, it can be charged for more damage, it can be used in the air, its affected by El Spectrum Crystal.

El Spectrum Crystal
Before CBS it can stun for 0.5 sec without damage EVERYTIME YOU CHANGE FIELD WITHOUT MP USE FOR 25 SEC, perfect for KD canceler, once you're CBS, you can only stun to activate it so use it wisely in your combos if you want to extend it.

Energy Needles.
Doesn't KD after a certai amount of hit ALONG with it, not on its own.

Photon Blink.
Stops chargers (people running at you blindly), invincible while using it

Photon Flare
Can be used in the air, doesn't KD, when used on an opponent in the air, it stuns and prevents him from attacking while landing. Blinds...

My current set skill before i'm CBS is
Photon Blink
Mega Electron Ball
El Spectrum Crystal
Rolling Sweep

Personally, when i'm CBS, I always use:
Main set [Basic Battle]
Taser Pilum
Mega Electron Ball
El Spectrum Crystal
Energy Needles

Second set [When using MP Gain Set]
Taser Pilum
Mega Electron Ball
El Spectrum Crystal
Photon Flare

Third Set [When i'll master use use of Photon Blink]
Taser Pilum
Mega Electron Ball
El Spectrum Crystal
Photon Blink

With all that said, you can see that CBS and even CEL have great combo potential and by mastering the basic skills and their mobility abilities, 20% Accuracy & Attack Speed, they become deadlier.

Thats the most I could think of cause right now i'm at work so i'll go back to work.
I'll get back on it when i'm home.

Hello Morichika!

Thanks so much for telling your personal options and opinions on CBS's combo ability.

I agree with most of your point! Pretty well thought. Yes , Mega Electron Ball is my most used skill now atm.

I'll be using both Taser and MEB when CBS comes out though. Charging both at once ^^

Anyways! What I meant when I said that CBS doesn't have much combo potential is that her new add on combos doesn't have much. I wasn't talking about the uses of her skills to combo.

CBS basically only has her ZZZ <> or ZZ ^ > Z or >> ZZ loop . So that's what I meant.

Her new additional combos are mostly mediocre damage / knocks down / mana feeds the opponent.

Yes I pretty much agree for Energy Needle for the mana feed.

But the Aerial Laser & Spinning Spiral Spectrum are a great non-KD moves that lets her perform more aerial moves.
Also, the reason most of her damage are mediocre is that they are multi-hit based ones meaning that you may see 600 damage but don't forget that most of the moves like particle ray, rolling sweet, thousand star, MEB, Aerial Laser, final Z in Z combo and final Z in X combo are basically multi hit moves and multiplied by 3 with Spectrum Mode and multiplied by ?? with induction mode.

In the end that 600 is either 600×6 without spectrum crystal modes or (600×6)×3 on spectrum mode or 600×?? [more than 3] on induction mode.

Not to mention that on awakening, induction mode deal more numbers of damage than spectrum if we disregard the normal damage increase of the awakening.

I don't need to mention Energetic Heart cause lol, that FUUUUUUSIOOOOOON--- HAAAAA!! of all modes.

Once you turn into CBS you must master aerial mobility and attacks.

I've read many pvp & combo guides and I stumbled upon many aerial battle guides wich some of them I already knew.

>>ZZ can't be looped, its to catch & begin of combo, you mean the >>ZZZ as its >> (dash) Z(1st sting) Z (2nd sting) Z (Illusion stinger dash trhough).

My main combo is:

ZZZ MEB ZZZ El Spectrum Crystal (cause it stuns + recoil animation without damage to help my MEB cooldown time to finish faster) ZZZ Taser Pilum ZZ >> X to launch and then I can either catch with Energy Needle to catch (cause I already
did the full KD count so it reseted) and restart my combo.

Quite a difficult combo to pull off but with alot of practice you can pretty much win any battle.

Since she has alot of active, recoil and a stun skill that doesn't KD:

She can eliminate the destruction aura of elsword (red aura) from far.
Rolling sweep on induction mode can chase down aisha to prevent her from gaining mana.
The moment raven awakens you can range him until he pulls up his shield then you can >>ZZ & combo punish him.
Induction mode can take care of the swift rena jumping combo moves.

After that its a challenge against other CBS and chungs in general because of their flexibility in all around combat environments & skills.

A CBS may be a mana hungry class but her real strenght lies in her unique jumping functions and aerial movements.

In a multi platform arena like in the spiral corridor map, don't stay on the lower floor, stay on the upper platform to fight as you can spring step, air feint and air trap as much as you want.

v>>^< or v<<^> after a few hits or simply to dodge incoming attacks and rapidly start your combo.

Spinning Spiral Spectrum is a great combo breaker, an excellent combo starter and a great escape move in any situation as it require only 5sp per spin, is quick, can flinch & has a bigger hitbox than it seems.

With the help of taser & MEB, when you have alot of mp you can stay in the air at a safe distance and for the whole 30 sec of the el spectrum crystal activation in induction mode you can relentlessly attack your opponent in the air without him ever reaching you unless using anti-long range air moves:

Start with El Spectrum Crystal Induction:
>>^XZ, MEB, >><<XZ, Taser, <<>>XZ, MEB, Z[v>X][<X][>X] (Spinning Spiral Spectrum), Z, land, <<Z, <<X, catch with MEB preferably & start combo.

This is the most difficult combo I have yet to pull off but when mastered there isn't much that can stop you from dealing huge amount of damage with this aerial combo before the land combo.

Why use MEB or Taser after the >>^XZ in the air?
It reset the air boost count! Meaning you can restart air boosting along with the moves that follows it as long as you can use those 2 skills after your boost and Aerial Laser.

With induction mode, you won't miss a single hit as long as they are in your range and will make them flinch, unable to move.

NB: >>X can also be replaced by ZZZvZ or ZZZ>or<Z for the final hit of the combo to launch, reset the KD and catch to start a new combo but thats if you well counted your KD count and can pull off that final ZZZvZ or ZZZ>or<Z.

NB2: XXZ hold can also be used when all you skills has to cool down and you need some time as when you don't hold for too long, you won't make your opponent leave the ground and combo right away, though if you got enough atk speed, you can at the end of the move, use ZZZ to catch, but like i said you absolutely need minimum 20% atk speed to pull that off.
